Hi! I'm Liz.
I'm an Actor / Singer / Producer / Theater-Maker!
I caught the theater bug at 8 years old, when I saw a production of 42nd Street at my local Dinner Theatre. I was a chubby curly-haired kid with big glasses and a visual disability who desperately wanted to be seen and understood. The theatre embraced me, which I desperately needed as a kid who was picked on.

I always wanted to be an actor, and I never imagined doing anything else. However, after spending years traveling & touring the country, I started noticing that our industry was becoming less and less accessible. I didn't really feel like having a disability in the theatre could or should be acknowledged. If nobody can see it, then it's best to pretend it's not there... But, why wasn't there more work being done, on and off the stage, to promote an Equitable working environment?

"I wanna be am a Producer..."
I couldn't be prouder of my company and my newly-forged identity as a multi-hyphenate. I decided to do my part to change the stage by founding Out of the Box Theatrics, an Off-Broadway Non-For-Profit theatre company that uplifts marginalized communities through the stories we tell.
Nine years later, we are proudly producing work at Theater 154 and have expanded our mission.
Truth is, I'm a theater nerd through and through...but in between the showtunes, it's possible you can catch me binging Drag Race with my husband while sipping a cocktail and snuggling our three pups Penelope, Jinx, and Skip...
That's pretty on brand for me on a Friday night.
